About Perry

BMAC Complex
Looking for a place to host your next baseball tournament? Look no further. The Perry BMAC Baseball Complex has all your bases covered. Opened in March of 2016, this state-of- the-art facility has all the amenities a tournament operator could need.
The complex is four fields in total: two for 14u and two for 12u. Each field is equipped with a digital
scoreboard and control system. The fields are fully lit for night games and can be adjusted for younger
players with temporary backstops and adjustable pitching mounds.
The complex includes covered bleachers and a full concessions area. Multiple hotels and restaurants are nearby and everything is conveniently accessible from I-35.5.

 Perry Lake

Nestled just two miles off Highway 77, Perry Lake is a hidden gem for those interested in outdoor activities. A reservoir of the Upper Black Bear Creek system, this lake once served as the primary water source for the City of Perry. While the city can still draw from it if needed, its primary use is now for recreation. Perry Lake offers primitive camping as well as RV parking with full electrical, water, and sewer connections. Boating, skiing, swimming, and fishing are just a few of the activities visitors can
engage in.

CCC Lake and Park

Just to the South of Perry on Highway 86, CCC Lake and Park is a wellspring of nature and rustic charm. Created in 1934 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) as part of the New Deal, CCC Lake has served Perry as a place of recreation for many years. Now it serves as the primary water source for Perry as well. Three pavilions are available for use, and can be reserved for special occasions. Swimming and fishing are allowed, and a boat ramp is available as well. Only trolling motors are allowed on the lake,
Also available at CCC Lake and Park, the Centennial Church is a beautiful location for weddings or other special events. Originally built in 1894, this church was moved to the lake and completely renovated by the Cherokee Strip Centennial Corporation as an official Oklahoma Centennial project. Renovations were completed in 2007.

Cherokee Strip Museum

Operated by the Oklahoma Historical Society, the Cherokee Strip Museum provides an opportunity to
explore the remarkable events and people who made up the history of the Cherokee Outlet. More than that, visitors have the chance to experience living history through the Rose Hill School and the newly opened Blacksmith Shop.
In the Rose Hill School, history is more than just pictures on the wall with the living history program
entitled, A Day at Rose Hill School. Every day of the school year a different fourth grade class travels to
Perry to attend school. The program has been attended by over 66,000 Oklahoma scholars, who were accompanied by over 9,000 teachers and parents. It truly is living history.
At the Blacksmith Shop, visitors are given the opportunity to experience what it was like crafting the tools of many trades that would transform the new territory of the Cherokee Strip into an agricultural powerhouse. View the tools, technology, and techniques used to forge the future of Perry and the surrounding area.

Historic Downtown

One of the few, genuine town squares left in America today, Perry’s beautiful and historic downtown has played, and continues to play, a vital role in the future of our city. Around the square you will find everything from antique shops and historic restaurants to modern businesses. At the center of our square is the historic Noble County Courthouse, a place that has been party to both the best of times and the most tragic of times in Oklahoma.
Our historic downtown plays host to the annual Cherokee Strip Celebration, the longest running parade in Oklahoma, as well as the Kumback Café, the longest continuously operating restaurant in Oklahoma. In the spring, Springfest and Hops Car Show draw classic and resto-mod cars from around the nation, and on the fourth Friday of most months you will find food trucks and activities thanks to Main Street of Perry.

There is plenty to see and do. Come join us around the square!
